2025 KTM RC 200 Gets A Striking New Metallic Grey Colour Option

KTM India has launched an exciting new colour option for the 2025 RC 200, enhancing its visual appeal for sportbike enthusiasts. The new Metallic Grey variant adds a bold and fresh look to the motorcycle’s existing palette, which already includes Blue and Black colour options. This move is aimed at attracting riders who appreciate a more refined yet aggressive aesthetic without any mechanical alterations to the bike itself.

The Metallic Grey livery features a unique dual-tone grey combination that is elegantly accented with KTM’s signature orange highlights. These orange elements are tastefully applied to the trellis frame, parts of the fairing, and select components, offering a sporty contrast. The black alloy wheels of this variant match those seen on the Black version, in contrast to the vivid orange wheels found on the Blue variant. KTM branding in bold black lettering completes the look, maintaining the bike’s edgy persona.

Mechanically, the KTM RC 200 remains unchanged. It is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 24.6 bhp and 19.2 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is underpinned by WP Apex USD front forks (non-adjustable) and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, ensuring a balanced ride quality. Braking is managed by disc brakes on both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety.

Despite the unchanged technical specifications, the 2025 RC 200 is now compliant with OBD-2B emission norms, reflecting KTM’s commitment to updated environmental standards. With a fuel tank capacity of 13.7 litres, a seat height of 835 mm, and a kerb weight of 160 kg, the RC 200 continues to strike a balance between agility and stability—making it ideal for both city riding and spirited weekend rides.

It is worth noting that the launch of the new colour variant comes shortly after KTM implemented a price hike across its lineup. The RC 200 saw the most significant increase of ₹11,000, bringing its ex-showroom price to ₹2.54 lakh. Even so, the added aesthetic value and compliance upgrades make the 2025 KTM RC 200 a compelling option in the entry-level sportbike segment.
