TVS Launches Jupiter 125 Dual Tone Smartxonnect Variant At ₹89,000
Stylish New Colours, Enhanced Tech, and a Perfect Urban Companion
TVS Motor Company has introduced a new variant of its popular Jupiter 125 scooter, expanding the lineup to a total of four variants. Dubbed the Dual Tone SmartXonnect (SXC) variant, the latest addition is priced at ₹89,000 (ex-showroom) and positions itself strategically between the Disc and the top-end SmartXonnect variants.
Fresh Colours with a Stylish Twist
The most noticeable update in this variant is the introduction of two elegant dual-tone colour options — Ivory Brown and Ivory Grey. These colours offer a fresh and sophisticated visual appeal, exclusive to the SXC variant, enhancing the scooter’s premium persona. These stylish hues are aimed at attracting younger buyers and urban commuters who seek individuality and flair in their everyday ride.
SmartXonnect & Feature Enhancements
Keeping pace with evolving customer expectations, TVS has equipped the new variant with a fully digital LCD instrument cluster. This all-digital unit offers smartphone connectivity via TVS’s proprietary SmartXonnect platform, providing features such as call and SMS alerts, real-time fuel efficiency data, average mileage tracking, and more. These additions not only improve functionality but also boost the convenience factor for tech-savvy riders.
Further enhancing passenger comfort, the scooter now includes a pillion backrest and a rear reflector, contributing both to ergonomics and safety. Existing features such as an LED headlight and follow-me-home function continue to be part of the package, offering a well-rounded riding experience.
Proven Powertrain with iGo Assist Tech
Under the skin, the Jupiter 125 remains mechanically unchanged, continuing to draw power from the same tried-and-tested 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. However, the SXC variant benefits from the brand’s innovative iGo Assist technology, designed to offer added convenience in stop-and-go traffic. This feature enables a gentle forward motion at low throttle input, making it ideal for urban conditions.
The engine delivers a power output of 8.44 bhp and 11.1 Nm of peak torque with iGo Assist engaged, slightly up from the standard figures of 8 bhp and 10.5 Nm. This marginal performance enhancement ensures smoother low-speed maneuverability and improved ride quality.
