Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Unveils Safety Features Ahead of April 14 Launch
With German engineering and state-of-the-art technology, Volkswagen is preparing to introduce the new Tiguan R-Line in India on April 14 and promises a safe and efficient driving experience. The sporty “R-Line” insignia is a feature of the high-end SUV.
The brand-new Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line is available for pre-booking at authorized dealerships in India or online at the official Volkswagen website.
The 2.0-liter TSI EVO engine that powers the Tiguan R-Line produces 320 Nm of torque and 204 PS at its peak. paired with 4Motion all-wheel drive and a 7-speed DSG transmission.
The SUV, which was constructed on the MQB evo platform, has a revised chassis and integrates a Vehicle Dynamics Manager and Volkswagen’s new Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) Pro. Through the control of controlled shock absorbers and electronic differential locking (XDS), this technology improves driving accuracy, stability, and agility.
The Tiguan R-Line comes with 21 Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features, including:
- Side Assist (lane change assist with Rear Traffic Alert)
- Front Assist (emergency braking system)
- Lane Assist (lane-keeping system)
- Park Assist Plus
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Additionally, the SUV boasts segment-leading safety features such as 9 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, hill descent control, and front & rear disc brakes. It has also secured a 5-star EURO NCAP safety rating.
