Hyundai Unveils Wired-to-Wireless Adapter for Alcazar SUV

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched a new Wired to Wireless Adapter for its Alcazar SUV, allowing users to connect their smartphones to the infotainment system without cables. The adapter is now available in the Prestige, Platinum, and Signature trims, enhancing convenience for Alcazar owners by enabling wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The adapter is designed to offer seamless connectivity, allowing drivers and passengers to access navigation, music streaming, and voice commands effortlessly. It also contributes to a clutter-free dashboard, ensuring a hassle-free driving experience.

Pricing & availability

The Wired to Wireless Adapter is offered across both 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine variants. Prices for models equipped with this feature start at Rs 17.21 lakh for the Prestige 7-seater variant and go up to Rs 21.58 lakh for the Signature 6-seater with DCT/AT transmission. The Platinum trim, available in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations, is priced between Rs 19.59 lakh and Rs 21.03 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai’s Market Performance

Hyundai continues to strengthen its position in the Indian automotive market. In FY 2024-25, the company surpassed 2.5 million SUV sales and achieved over 1.5 million units of the Creta across domestic and export markets. Additionally, Hyundai shipped 1,63,386 units from its Tamil Nadu facility and secured the second position in passenger vehicle sales, delivering 5,98,666 units in the domestic market, with SUVs contributing 68.5 per cent of the total sales.

The introduction of the Wired to Wireless Adapter further underscores Hyundai’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into its vehicles, catering to the evolving needs of modern customers.
